SUNY Broome is delighted to announce the re-accreditation of the College’s Fast Forward program through the National Alliance of Concurrent Enrollment Partnerships (NACEP). Fast Forward students earn high school and college credits simultaneously, and upon graduating, are invited to continue their studies at SUNY Broome or transfer their dual enrollment credits to the college or university of their choice – all at no costs to the students!

Since 1983, the Fast Forward program has offered high school students the opportunity to complete SUNY Broome courses at their local high schools. Each year, more than 2,200 high school students from Broome, Chenango, and Tioga counties, and the Five Boroughs, participate in concurrent enrollment courses via Fast Forward. More than 150 instructors from partnering districts work alongside SUNY Broome’s academic department chairs to offer courses from all four of the College’s academic divisions. In total, Fast Forward students earn more than 14,000 transferable college credits each year.

Providing access to college-level courses, at no cost to the student, is possible thanks to our strong relationships with our K-12 partners,” said Brittney Richardson, Enrollment Management Coordinator. “We are so fortunate to work alongside truly exceptional, student-centered educators and school counselors from our partnering districts. Their willingness to collaborate allows thousands of students to graduate from high school with college credits already under their belts.”
