Zoom view of Midsummer Nights Dream Scene in Production of Shakespeare Bits & Pieces
Educational, Illuminating, and Free!

  • The Department of Music and Theater Arts invites you to enjoy the show again, or for the first time. The original debut for this virtual production was spring 2021.
  • A campus wide interdisciplinary production with Communications, our own Paul Sweeny’s period music and faculty Ed Evans and Director Katherine Bacon performing.
  • Reminder that this was the last full scale SUNY Broome theater production and had to be produced with actors and crew working from their own homes, etc.
  • Selections are a retrospective of “everyday sayings” that we may not know are from Shakespeare, and pieces from his plays, sonnets, songs and quotes. Hamlet, Romeo & Juliet, Othello, The Tempest, Julius Caesar.
  • Loaded with paintings/photos and “words” from this huge body of work that has been a part of our culture for over 400 years.

Open book with text: Mr. William Shakespeares Comedies, Histories, & Tragedies.
