Freshman Rachel Emery scored all three SUNY Broome goals in a 3-0 win over SUNY Adirondack as the Hornets played their first home game of the 2026-27 season.

Emery began the scoring at the 6:57 mark, then slotted in another goal at the 8:04 mark, and added her final at the 26:20 mark. After having also logged a goal in the previous regular-season match, Emery moved her season goal total to four. Remarkably, Paisley Jeziorski was the assister on all three Emery goals.

The early connection between the duo sent the host Hornets into the halftime locker room with a 3-0 lead, and the score remained that for the rest of the match, as the SUNY Broome defense limited the Timberwolves to just six shots.

Teagan Cohrs earned her first winning decision of her collegiate career as a goalkeeper. She made one save on her way to pitching the shutout in net.

With the win, SUNY Broome improved to 1-1 on the season.
