SUNY Broome President, Dr. Kevin E. Drumm has been appointed as the new Co-Chair of the Southern Tier Regional Economic Development Council. The Southern Tier REDC works to grow the economies in Broome, Tioga, Chenango, Delaware, Chemung, Schuyler, Steuben and Tompkins counties.
Dr. Drumm will be succeeding Binghamton University President Harvey Stenger, who served as co-chair since 2013.
“I am so honored to have been asked by the Governor and ESD to take on this role for such a critical initiative and I want to thank my colleague, President Stenger, for his leadership as co-chair of the STREDC.
