In an effort to improve vaccination access to college students, The White House announced yesterday that nearly all major chain pharmacies will offer second doses of the COVID-19 vaccines (Pfizer and Moderna) to individuals who received their first dose elsewhere or from a different provider.

This means students can start the vaccination process here in Broome County and then receive the second dose closer to home, if need be. 

The County will be accepting walk-ins at the vaccine clinic located in the SUNY Broome Ice Center tomorrow, April 29 from 9:00 am – 6:00 pm.

Continue to check this website for potential future walk-in availability. New York City also announced that anyone can make their second dose appointment at a NYC operated site if the individual received their first dose elsewhere. Below are the list of participating pharmacies for reference and further below is the link to the New York City scheduler.
