Professor Maureen Hankin, Chairperson of the Dental Hygiene Department, presented to the Broome Leadership Institute Class of 2021 on November 19, 2020.
The Broome Leadership Institute, sponsored by the Greater Binghamton Chamber of Commerce and the Greater Binghamton Education Outreach Program, is a 6-month program for business professionals that fosters a network of leaders who are committed to understanding and improving the quality of life in our region.
Professor Hankin discussed the oral health services provided to the community by the Dental Hygiene Clinic. She also discussed the development of the SUNY Broome Global Service Learning courses; Health for Haiti and Global Health in Ireland.
