SUNY Broome will be implementing a new-updated version of Degree Works audit report for the Fall 2021 academic year. SICAS will start updating the new Degree Works into Production server on Monday, June 7th, 2021. To ensure familiarity with the new outlook audit report, students, faculty and staff should familiarize themselves with provided documents on the Degree Works webpage.
What do I need to know?
SUNY’s Student Information and Campus Administrative Systems (SICAS) which administers the Ellucian system software for all SUNY campuses has implemented the mandatory upgrade for all SUNY campuses.
The Registrar’s Office has posted Quick Reference Guide, sample replica documents for educational purposes only on the Degree Works webpage.
What do I need to do?
This new update will be implemented on June 7th, 2021. Until then, the older-version of Degree Works is accessible to students, faculty and staff. The login access information is all same and it can be accessed via “My College” account.
What is new?
The User Interface (UI) for Degree Works has significantly altered for better performance and multi-device accessibility:
• Audit accessibility on mobile devices
• Real-time advice and counsel
• Improved metrics on how courses are being used to fulfill requirements
• Robust analytical and decision support tools for institutional planning
• Invaluable aggregate information for planning future term course offerings
• Clear and concise transfer articulation
The Registrar’s Office has updated the Degree Works webpage with modified and updated information regarding the new version of the Degree audit reporting on Degree Works. Faculty and staff who use the audit report with students are encouraged to familiarize themselves with the new look-and-feel of the audit to better help the student.
