SUNY Broome has implemented a COVID-19 testing policy that on-campus students must participate in before departing for Thanksgiving Break. 

Testing will be held during the week of November 16th and you must sign up for an appointment by submitting the COVID Testing Appointment Form. Once submitted, you will receive a confirmation email with the location, date, and time of your appointment, along with the next steps you must follow.

Pool testing prior to Thanksgiving Break is mandatory for all on-campus students who fall under the following criteria:

  • Mandatory Testing of Students: All students currently taking an on-campus class, utilizing on-campus resources, or working or living on campus must participate in COVID-19 testing. 
  • Exceptions: The following students are exempt from mandatory testing: 
    1. Students who are fully online.
    2. Students not utilizing any in-person campus services.
    3. Students who provide a COVID-19 test result taken between November 14 and November 24. This documentation can be emailed to publicsafety@sunybroome.edu 
    4. Students providing documentation to the campus of a previous positive COVID-19 diagnostic result. This documentation can be emailed to publicsafety@sunybroome.edu
