Show off your public speaking skills — and win real prizes!
The SUNY Improv Club and Speakers of the House are hosting a Speech Contest from 2 to 4:30 p.m. Friday, Dec. 6, in Decker 201. The contest is open to all SUNY Broome students, with $800 in cash prizes!
The Best Prepared Speech contest runs from 2 to 3 p.m., with the Best Table Topic from 3 to 4:30 p.m.
The event also includes a half-time improv comedy show based on audience suggestions, and free refreshments including six different kinds of pizza, soda, coffee and cake.
