Celebrating Black History Month with 'Career Opportunities in Healthcare panel on March 7

To continue the campus celebrations for Black History Month, SUNY Broome’s Applied Learning and Career Center is proud to announce the “Preparing for a Career & Career Opportunities in Healthcare” panel discussion and networking event from 3 to 4:30 p.m. March 7 in Decker Health Sciences Building Room 201.

Please join us as we hear from our esteemed panelists: 2017 grad Nick White, a clinical nurse; 2017 grad Shayna Clement, a medical assistant; Elizana-Marie Joseph, a PrEP specialist; Dr. Ashley Dawson, a dentist; and Afua Baidoo-Davis, an adjunct clinical instructor in Binghamton University’s nursing program and a clinical manager at a local hospital. Learn from their personal experiences, and get career tips that will help you in the healthcare field.

Snacks and refreshments will be provided during the networking portion of the event, when students are able to speak 1:1 with our panelists. We hope you’ll join us on March 7!
