As we approach 20 years of SUNY Collaborative Online International Learning (COIL), join us for SUNY COIL Academy 2024 @ SUNY Oneonta! We’ll celebrate our successes, expand the reach of SUNY COIL, and build our community around global collaboration, locally and internationally.
At their core, COIL opportunities help students recognize their agency to impact the world around them, creating a broader sense of well-being and purpose. At the SUNY COIL Academy, we will focus on the value COIL brings to students and to higher education more broadly.
Whether you’re new to COIL, curious about COIL’s value for strategic initiatives, or ready to share your wisdom from COIL experiences, the SUNY COIL Academy @ SUNY Oneonta will help you connect with resources, educators, and students.
Experienced faculty, administrators, and students will celebrate COIL’s strengths and values, showcase the communities that have helped COIL flourish on their campuses, and explore local and global support for those interested in joining COIL.
Global integrative learning expert, Dr. Dawn Michele Whitehead, Vice President, Office for Global Citizenship, American Association of Colleges and Universities (AACU), will lead our keynote session.
Save the date for this free virtual or in-person event on September 20, 2024, 9 AM – 4 PM ET(UCT-4). Visit the SUNY COIL Center website for upcoming information. Registration information and an agenda for the event will be available soon.
