Do you know an outstanding student leader, an inspiring club advisor, or an exceptional student organization that has made a lasting impact on the SUNY Broome community? Now is your chance to recognize their contributions! The Office of Student Activities is seeking nominations for the following awards:
Recognition of SUNY Broome Student Leaders
This award is for students who have shown to be leaders in co-curricular life at SUNY Broome. This award will be given to ten students. Nominations will be accepted from SUNY Broome students, faculty, and staff. Self-nominations are welcome.
Student Organization/Club of The Year
This award is to recognize a student organization or club through SUNY Broome that has gone above and beyond to make SUNY Broome a more engaged community. Club members are welcome to nominate their own club. Nominations will be reviewed by Student Assembly and the Student Activities Team. There will be one winner for this award. Nominations for this award are accepted from students, faculty, and/or staff.
Student Organization/Club Advisor of The Year
This award is to recognize a club advisor that shows commitment and dedication to engagement on the SUNY Broome campus. There will be one winner for this award. Nominations for this award are accepted from students only.
Nomination Process
All SUNY Broome students, faculty, and staff are invited to submit nominations. To nominate a deserving student, advisor, or organization, please complete the official nomination form on The Swarm by Sunday, April 20, 2025.
