The SBCC Business Club went to Boston. Fun was had by all. We visited Harvard University, Boston University, Quincy Market, and took an amazing bus tour around the city. The students met with Dr. Kristie Bowers of Boston University, the Senior Associate Director of Athletics. She was kind enough to talk to the students about business jobs in the sports world. She made special note about “diversity” in college organizations, for example, more females and more people of color. She toured us through Boston University’s athletic facilities!
We also went to Boston University’s men’s hockey game – they WON!!
