Are you ready to make a difference?
Even though campus is closed, 24 Hours of Giving must go on! Unfortunately, all on-campus events are rescheduled.
SUNY Broome’s 24 Hours of Giving is officially underway until midnight tonight. Jump in, join the excitement, and make your impact!
Please join me in making a gift! Here are some easy ways to make a contribution right from home:
- Online: Make a gift with your credit or debit card.
- Phone: Call the Foundation office (607-778-5182) and make a gift over the phone (someone will get back to you!)
SUNY Broome Employees could also explore this option:
- Payroll Deduction: Can be easily set up online
On Campus Activities
Due to the snowfall, our fun on-campus activities have been rescheduled!
- Basket Raffles: From Wednesday to Friday this week employees and retirees are invited to stop by the Foundation Office in Wales 201 to make a donation and drop your raffle tickets into the drawings for your favorite baskets or items. Good luck! Winners will be drawn late Friday.
- Bake Sale: The student bake sale is rescheduled to Thursday, December 4 (location TBD).
- Applebees: The Applebee’s fundraiser will also be rescheduled to a later date.
Virtual Activities
Consider participating in 24 Hours of Cute. Create your best cute or fun SUNY Broome–themed photo and share it with #24hoursofcute to help promote our giving day.
As the day continues, we’ll be sharing our activities on social media. I invite you to help us spread the word. Please share your pictures with #Broome24 to promote Hornet pride on this momentous day!
As you consider participating, remember, it’s not about how much you give. It’s about coming together with other members of the SUNY Broome community for this vital cause. Follow the progress throughout the day on the 24 Hours of Giving website! Thank you for everything you do for the college, students, and community!
Regards,
Dr. Tony D. Hawkins
