On July 1, 2026, SUNY Broome took home a silver Council for Advancement and Support of Education (CASE) Circle of Excellence Award. CASE is a global nonprofit association dedicated to educational advancement that champions education. Their annual Circle of Excellence Awards showcase outstanding work in advancement services, alumni relations, communications, fundraising, and marketing.
While this is the third year, SUNY Broome has been honored with a win in the Magazines: Alumni/General Interest (Two-Year Institutions) category for BROOME magazine; we had taken bronze in previous years. We were one of the 493 total Circle of Excellence Award winners (all categories) out of 4,185 submissions (all categories) from 33 countries.
Winning entries were chosen for overall quality, innovation, effective use of resources, and measurable impact on their institutions and communities, including alumni, parents, students, faculty, and staff. Judges noted the following for the BROOME 2025 editions: “Engaging content that is focused and sharp and works across both print and digital platforms. Judges appreciated the care that went into its creation. An inspiration for other community colleges.”
