SUNY Broome’s 2026 Commencement ceremony will be held at the Visions Veterans Memorial Arena on Thursday, May 21 at 6:30 p.m.!
If you are graduating and interested in being the student speaker for commencement, please fill out the Commencement 2026 Student Speaker Application (all applications should come directly from the student interested in speaking). Filling out this application does not mean that you will automatically be speaking at graduation, one person will be selected from the pool of applicants. There will be a GPA and conduct check done for all applicants.
APPLICATIONS ARE DUE NO LATER THAN 11:59 p.m. ON APRIL 12, 2026.
Please note that the student speaker that is selected will be required to deliver their speech in person at Commencement.
