Point guard Tyace Thompson

The Hornets came out strong on Thursday night in Corning against the Red Barons before struggling down the stretch and falling 82-67 to the host team. Turnovers and foul trouble continued to plague the Hornets in the MSAC contest.

Point guard Tyace Thompson had a strong showing for the Hornets, scoring 22 points while shooting 50% from the field and adding 3 assists. The freshman brought tremendous energy on the defensive end and demonstrated poise while running the show on the offensive end. Sophomore shooting guard, Seth Roselle, Jr had an efficient night shooting, he went 3-4 from beyond the arc and added 5 assists and 2 steals while playing 38 minutes. Sophomore forward Andrew Charles continues to battle against bigger opponents but still managed 13 points, 13 rebounds and 1 block.

Broome returns home this Sunday for another MSAC game against Genesee CC scheduled for a 2:00 pm tip.
