SUNY Broome men's basketball team lost to Genesee CC
The men’s basketball team lost to Genesee CC, currently ranked #1 in the latest NJCAA DIII poll, by a score of 88-62 Sunday afternoon in the Baldwin Gymnasium. The Hornets battled the Cougars for forty minutes but the speed and depth of the visitors proved to be too much.

Broome received notable performances from freshman forward Jean Senatus and freshman point guard Tyace Thompson. Senatus scored 10 points on 70% shooting from the field, grabbed 8 rebounds and added a block while Thompson knocked down 4 out of his 5 three pointers on his way to a 13 point showing and added 3 assists along the way. Also hitting the double digit mark was Seth Roselle, Jr with 13 points and Naquan Toombs with 12 points.

The Hornets are back home this Thursday with an 8:00 pm tip against Onondaga CC in the Baldwin Gymnasium.
