Zechariah Clouston from the baseball team is this week’s SUNY Broome Student-Athlete of the Week.
The Hornets achieved a 2-0 record last week, sweeping a doubleheader on the road against a quality Finger Lakes team, fueled by the two-way play of Clouston.
In the two games last week, Clouston did not get out once while batting, reaching base eight times. In addition to drawing three walks, he batted 5-5 with four runs scored, four RBIs, a triple, and two sacrifice flies. His four RBIs tied for a team high on the week. Clouston was also effective from the mound, pitching 2.2 innings and striking out five.
