Your regalia has arrived!
Stop by SUNY Broome’s Bookstore from May 6, 2025 – May 9, 2025 to pick up your cap and gowns for graduation! On Thursday May 8, 2025 we will have a selfie station along with a SUNY Broome backdrop for students to to take photos with their newly acquired regalia to celebrate commencement!
If you pre-ordered your cap and gown you can pick them up. If not, do not worry, you can purchase them in store!
The SUNY Broome Bookstore has everything you need in stock for purchase. If purchasing regalia isn’t an option, reach out to the Hornet Hope Center to learn about available support.
As a friendly reminder, all students will wear a black cap, gown and tassel. If you are an honors graduate (GPA 3.50 – 4.00), you are entitled to a gold tassel. If you are a member of Phi Theta Kappa, you are entitled to a Phi Theta Kappa tassel and stole.
Commencement is a dignified, formal event, and graduates must wear proper academic regalia in order to participate. Academic regalia may be adorned with stoles, ribbons, and other decorations associated with your experience at SUNY Broome. While we welcome creativity, any embellishments must be tasteful and appropriate. Adornments deemed inappropriate by event staff and/or College officials must be removed upon request.
