MOC 2025: Men of Color Summit April 5, 2025 from 8:30 am - 5 pm.

The Men of Color Summit, presented by Binghamton University and SUNY Broome Community College, is dedicated to fostering empowerment, leadership, and academic and professional success among men of color. Through engaging discussions, professional development workshops, and valuable networking opportunities, the summit creates a supportive space for students, faculty, staff and community members to share experiences, build connections, and develop the skills necessary to thrive in their personal and professional journeys.

The summit is open to all students, yet it is intentionally designed to uplift and empower men of color, helping them build confidence, strengthen their sense of identity, and forge lasting connections. Rooted in community and leadership, the summit fosters engagement among students, faculty, staff, and the broader SUNY Broome and surrounding communities. Through insightful discussions, mentorship from professional leaders, and interactive workshops, participants will gain valuable skills, expand their networks, and develop a deeper understanding of their personal and professional growth.

Transportation is available, with pick-up and drop-off from Student Village. For more information, contact Jay Harrison at Harrisonjr1@sunybroome.edu. Participants will receive a certificate of participation to recognize their commitment to growth and learning.
