Anesa Galesic was awarded the 2024 Binghamton American Chemical Society Award for Outstanding Undergraduate Chemistry Major on April 17th, 2024 at the 83rd Annual Award Ceremony held in the Smart Energy Building at Binghamton University.

The SUNY Broome Chemistry Department is thrilled to announce that Anesa Galesic was awarded the 2024 Binghamton American Chemical Society Award for Outstanding Undergraduate Chemistry Major on April 17, 2024 at the 83rd Annual Award Ceremony held in the Smart Energy Building at Binghamton University.

Anesa Galesic was awarded the 2024 Binghamton American Chemical Society Award for Outstanding Undergraduate Chemistry Major on April 17th, 2024 at the 83rd Annual Award Ceremony held in the Smart Energy Building at Binghamton University.

Anesa is a student in the LAAS program and was chosen by the faculty at SUNY Broome as our institution’s award winner. Professor Alison Sheridan-Brennan presented Anesa with the award after giving a speech that included many wonderful comments from Anesa’s professors.

This award is given to one student from each higher education institution in the Binghamton ACS region who demonstrates excellence in their undergraduate studies and will pursue a degree in chemistry or a chemistry-related field.

Anesa will be graduating from the LAAS Program at SUNY Broome this Spring and has been accepted to the BU School of Pharmacy for the Fall of 2024. Congratulations Anesa!!!
