This week is a busy one for the Hornets as five total teams are in action across soccer, cross country, and volleyball.
The women’s soccer team starts the action this week by hosting the St. John Fisher JV team at Alumni Field on Wednesday at 5 p.m.
The Hornets return to play for an action-packed Saturday as the men’s and women’s cross country teams will kick off their seasons at the Bruce Bridegman Invitational hosted by Finger Lakes CC, the women’s volleyball team will travel to Genesee CC for a POD with matches vs the Cougars and Jamestown CC, and the women’s and men’s soccer teams will be at home, hosting North Country and Cayuga, respectively.
The women will race at 10:30 a.m. in the Bruce Bridgeman Invitational on Saturday, while the men’s race will begin at 11:15 a.m. The volleyball team starts the Genesee POD against Jamestown at 12 p.m. and finishes with a match against the hosting Cougars at 2 p.m. Women’s soccer will kickoff against North Country at 1 p.m. and the men will follow against Cayuga at 3 p.m.
