On Friday Oct. 20, 2023, at 10:30 a.m., SUNY Broome will bury the 75th anniversary time capsule in a designated location in front of the Darwin R. Wales Center. While there will not be a formal press event or ceremony, photos and videos will be taken to document the occasion. Feel free to join the fun if you so wish.
The 75th Anniversary Committee appreciates all the support from campus regarding the College’s 75th-anniversary celebrations. Specifically, we would like to thank everyone who donated items to the time capsule. Your contributions helped to create a wonderful display of Broome history for the future.
The time capsule will be opened in 2073, 50 years in the future. We celebrate the possibility that some of our current students will be here to witness the opening in 2073!
