Workplace Violence Prevention and Awareness training is a required annual training for employees of the college. Marie Finelli will be presenting information to employees about prevention, detection, response and reporting of WPV incidents.
WPV includes but is not limited to harassment, bullying, sexual harassment, domestic violence, intimidation, active shooter, etc. Incidents of workplace violence can be perpetrated by employees, customers, or other persons affiliated (or not), with the college.
The session will run from 11 a.m. to noon Oct. 24 in the Public Safety classroom. More training dates/times will be announced.
