Wellness Wednesday out of the Counseling Corner:

In continuing the theme of health and wellness from Monday – let’s look at food intake.

What are you eating?

When was the last time you enjoyed/ate a vegetable or piece of fruit?

Are you eating on the go?

Are you eating more processed foods?

Are you eating a meal or just snacking here and there?

This week you are being challenged to track your food intake- get out a piece of paper or two, or download an app that you are able to track your food in.

Write down everything that you are eating. If it goes in your mouth- it goes on the food tracker (paper or app).

Try this for a week and see what the results are. Are you happy with the results? Are there areas that you would like to improve on? Are you feeling fueled by your food? This idea of this is to check in with what goes into our bodies and compare this to our mood and energy level. If you want to feel better – you may need to or want to change up some of your eating habits.
