The TACT (Training Associate for College Tutors) annual conference was held at SUNY Broome on Saturday, March 30.
More than 60 tutors from across the state converged to share ideas and tutoring strategies, including topics such as active listening, the Socratic method, assistive technology and multiple intelligences. They also faced some of their fears and while discovering their potential in a variety of breakout sessions.
Invigorating keynote addresses were given by Executive Vice President and Chief Academic Officer Francis Battisti and Lorn Campbell. A wonderful time was had by all!
