Title IX logo

The Title IX/Sexual Harassment Prevention Training for employees is now available online through Blackboard.

Per the new New York State law, every employer in New York State is required to provide employees with sexual harassment prevention training. As we are also an educational institution, federal law mandates we offer Title IX training as well.

Per the new NYS law, employees must receive training on an annual basis. Even if you have previously attended, employees must be trained annually.

To complete the training online, log into your Mycollege account. Select “Blackboard” – on the left of the screen (It might ask you to log in again). There should be a link to “2021 Annual Trainings” on the right hand side of the screen. Within “2021 Annual Trainings” you should see “Trainings for All Employees”.

Within there you should see three (3) available trainings:

  • Campus Security Authority (CSA) Training
  • Right to Know Training
  • Title IX and Sexual Harassment Training

All of these trainings need to be completed. This is a reminder that the Title IX/Sexual Harassment Prevention online training is in place of face to face trainings. We will keep the online trainings, but hope to start face to face trainings in the fall

If you have any questions, feel free to e-mail or call.

Thank you,
Paige
