“Stories of African-American Valor” included biographies and quotations of famous African-American heroes such as Frederick Douglass, Muhammad Ali, Harriet Tubman, Martin Luther King Jr., Maya Angelou, Sojourner Truth and many others. The presenters were Katherine Bacon’s acting students as well as Adjunct Faculty Dr. Craig Jefferson as a featured guest artist.

Gracing the stage were the outstanding drawings from the Beginning Drawing class taught by Patricia Evans. This educational and cultural endeavor was hugely beneficial to all the students involved.  Pictured with the students is Vice President of Student Development and Chief Diversity Officer Dr. Carol Ross.
