The American Heart Association Heart Walk returns to the SUNY Broome campus at 10 a.m. April 7!

The Heart Walk is the American Heart Association’s premier event for raising funds to save lives from this country’s No. 1 and No. 5 killers — heart disease and stroke. But it can only be a success with your support — yes, you!

Every little bit helps. Here’s how you can pitch in:

  • Sign up to play and/or participate in the Faculty/Staff vs. Students co-ed Basketball game to be held in the Baldwin gym on March 28th during Common Hour.We are looking for players of ANY talent, as well as cheerleaders, dance steppers, coaches, referees and, of course, fans. Sign up here. l Practice notices will be going out soon.
  • Join a SUNY Broome AHA Heart Walk team or create your own and help us raise money to meet exceed our goal of $7,500. We have a local website that will track various events that are happening up through the Heart Walk day in April at http://www3.sunybroome.edu/heartwalk/
  • T-shirts and a few collared shirts are available for purchase here.
