When you can't find the sunshine, be the sunshine.

When it seems that the world around you is a shade of grey that never brightens, look within you for the light. Sometimes we have to create our own sunshine. Make a list of things that bring you joy, things that you enjoy doing, people that you enjoy interacting with. What/who is on this list? Can you find ways to do some of these items? Create sunshine! 

Some ideas: Write a letter to a friend or family member and mail it to them- we all love to receive mail. Call someone that you enjoy a good laugh with. Watch a movie that you haven’t seen in forever that reminds you of some good times in your life. Listen to music and have a dance party- even if it is a party of 1!Keep the list going- write your ideas down, keep the list handy and try to do a few items on the list each week, or even each day- if you have the time.
