Join the Women’s Institute at SUNY Broome for a discussion and deliberation related to the U.S. Supreme Court confirmation process for Judge Kavanaugh.
The session, which focuses on the personal aspects of the confirmation, will run from 11 to 11:50 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 8, in Decker 201. It will look at the effect of this process on individual lives (of the accused and the accuser), its relationship to the #metoo movement, and the effect of such explosive public hearings on survivors of sexual assault. It will also ask how all people committed to respect should interact with one another moving forward.
