SUNY Broome student Ruddy Green is featured in a documentary series on The Ellen Degeneres Show.
The series, called “Summit,” follows a half-dozen Brooklyn teens who graduated from the Summit Academy Charter School as they embark upon college life. They received a full, four-year scholarship, provided by Walmart, to attend any SUNY school.
Ruddy Green, a Criminal Justice – Corrections major, chose SUNY Broome, and lives in the Student Village. Keanna Pickney is at Corning Community College, while Quincy Phillips is at SUNY Purchase and Nyasha Biggs, Melick Lubin and Sharinel Nunez at the University at Albany.
