$15,000 – SUNY REACH Online Pathways Project – Lumina Foundation through SUNY Research Foundation
Project Lead: Dr. Kimberly McLain
Funds will assist SUNY Broome to increase enrollment and completion of non-credit offerings, micro-credentials, and certificates that lead to two A.A.S. degrees (Business Information Management A.A.S. SUNY Online program and Web Development & Management A.A.S. SUNY Online program), especially for adults of color. To achieve these goals, the project team work to clarify pathways with implementation of a no-cost, face-to-face online orientation program with built in student supports and targeted outreach efforts within lower socioeconomic neighborhoods in the Binghamton area.

$8,277 – Library Coordinated Collection Aid – NYS Education Department
Project Lead: Robin Petrus
Funds will be used to purchase new resources for SUNY Broome’s Library to meet student and faculty research needs in areas that may include Business, Psychology, Social Sciences, Physical Sciences, Health Sciences, Life Sciences, Criminal Justice, Legal Studies, Economics, and Technology. Collections are made available to students, faculty and NYS residents via resource sharing.

$25,000 – Veteran and Military Affairs Office Upgrades – Lockheed Martin through BCC Foundation

Funds will support the efforts of SUNY Broome Veteran and Military Affairs to enhance the collegiate experience of our veteran students, especially via the upgrading of technologies, supplies, and materials within the Veterans and Military Affairs office space.
