The Department of Education has announced that students who are eligible for Pell Grant funding may be able to receive a third disbursement. Students may now receive federal Pell Grant funding for summer 2019, even if they received a full federal Pell Grant during the fall and spring semesters.
To be eligible for additional Pell Grant funds:
● Student must have completed their 2018-19 FAFSA and must be otherwise eligible to receive Pell Grant funds for the payment period
● Student must be enrolled at least half-time (6 credit hours) during the summer term
● Student must be maintaining satisfactory academic progress
