The SUNY Broome Theater program will present “Stories of African-American Valor” as its very first “Speak-Out Project” during Common Hour from 11 to 11:45 a.m. Thursday, March 22, in the Angelo Zuccolo Little Theatre.

Find out about famous African-American heroes such as Frederick Douglass, Muhammad Ali, Maya Angelou, Sojourner Truth, Jackie Robinson and others. The centerpiece of the Common Hour is a staged reading of the Rosa Parks incident on the bus in 1955 that made her a Civil Rights heroine.

Don’t miss this important Common Hour, which will begin at 11 a.m. sharp! The theater is located in the Student Center.
