Leon Yacher, an international recognized expert on Latin America and Asia, will give a lecture on “Asian countries in Latin America: past influences and current conditions and presence” at 5 p.m. Monday, October 17. The lecture, which is open to the public, will take place in Room 101 of Titchener Hall.

Dr. Yacher is a professor of Geography at Southern Conecticut State University. His research focus is on the history of cartography and the history of geography in Latin America and Central Asia.
