Ethics of Education logoRegister today for SUNY Broome’s ninth annual Interdisciplinary Conference on Applied Ethics, which runs from 3 to 8 p.m. Friday, March 23, in the Decker Health Science Center.

Keynote speaker Ty Muse, president and CEO of Visions Federal Credit Union, will speak on “Education: The Great Equalizer.” Professor Gian Roma, chair of Business programs, will discuss “Communicating and Assessing Ethical and Behavioral Performance for Students,” and Phi Theta Kappa will lead a discussion of “Tiger Parenting and Tiger Education.”

SUNY Broome Communications professors Jason Detrani and Ed Evans will host a film screening of “Teach Us All,” and Stephanie Malmberg of SUNY Broome’s Student Success Squad and Achieving Success initiative will discuss “Teaching for Social Justice in the Community College Classroom.” Dr. Thomas O’Brien, professor in Binghamton University’s Department of Teaching, Learning and Educational Leadership, will give a talk on “Soft Drinks, Subject Siloes, Synergy and Sweet Darwinian Diet Deliberations.”
