The Senior Physical Therapist Assistant students presented their Cultural Competence in Healthcare poster board presentations in the Decker Atrium on Nov. 7, 2018. The student posters represented Haiti, South Korea, Polynesia, the Inuit, Judaism, the deaf and individuals within the autism spectrum. The students did a superior job of providing clinically relevant information regarding the “Do’s and Don’ts” of providing culturally proficient healthcare as it relates to the populations represented on the day of the event.
