Dr. Rey C. Wojdat, professor and chair of SUNY Broome’s Hospitality Programs, has been awarded the title of Distinguished Graduate from the American College of Education (ACE).
Dr. Wojdat received his Doctorate in Education (Ed.D.) with a focus in higher education leadership while attending ACE, and graduated with a 4.0 cumulative GPA. His dissertation was entitled A Qualitative Study: Establishing Effective Culinary Arts Education Curricula and Facilities Dual-Purposed as Urban Regeneration.
Dr. Wojdat is the Assistant to the Dean overseeing operations of the SUNY Broome Culinary & Event Center (CEC). The first students enrolled in the Culinary Arts AOS degree authored by Dr. Wojdat are enrolled for the Fall 2019 semester, with inaugural classes at the CEC in the Spring 2020 semester.
