So far, 63 colleges and universities have signed up to attend SUNY Broome’s Transfer Day, which runs from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 2, 2017, in the Baldwin Gym! The event will give students the opportunity to learn about their programs and campuses.
The institutions represented are of every size, type and location, and include highly selective schools. In years past, participants have included Binghamton University, Clarkson University, Cornell University, Ithaca College and most of the four-year SUNY schools, as well as Pennsylvania State University, Syracuse University and Wells College.
The fair traditionally draws between 500 and 600 students. They typically speak to colleges about prospective majors, their locations, housing, academic programs, acceptance rates, financial aid and where graduates end up, in terms of careers or graduate schools.
