OXYANA (2015, 118 minutes) documents the dark notoriety achieved by Oceana, West Virginia – a scenic coal mountain mining town that is now being ravaged by an epidemic of black market prescription Oxycontin. At one point the drugs were responsible for a death rate of one person every day. The story is told by the addicts, the drug dealers and the people who have lost loved ones to the epidemic.
