May 9 film screening: ‘Persepolis’

Join Phi Theta Kappa for a showing of the 2007 film “Persepolis,” directed by Marjane Satrapi and Vincent Paronnaud.

The poignant story of a young girl in Iran during the Islamic Revolution. It is through the eyes of precocious and outspoken nine year old Marjane that we see a people’s hopes dashed as fundamentalists take power.

Part of PTK’s International Film Series, the film starts at 7 p.m. May 9 in TH 101.
