The poetry scene is exploding in the Binghamton area! With more than four weekly poetry open mics in the Triple Cities and a rapidly increasing number of events that feature poetry, our local community is contributing to the growing numbers of people across the globe who are finding ways to express their fears and frustrations over our current political and social issues through poetry.
At 11 a.m. March 15 in T-102, come hear local poets read from their works and share their thoughts on the theme of politics. Faculty presenters and guests include Marcia Blackburn, J. Barrett Wolf and a wide variety of local poets.
