Join SUNY Broome’s Douglas C. Garnar Center for Civic Engagement for a special edition of the Public Voice from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. March 1 in Decker Health Sciences Room 201.

Participants will have the opportunity to let our elected officials know their thoughts on legalizing marijuana for recreational use in New York State. All citizens are invited to attend. Seating is limited to 95 participants and doors will open at 5:15 pm

Each participant will be given up to 1 minute to share their thoughts on this impending legislation. All input will be recorded and shared with the offices of Senator Fred Akshar, Assemblyman Cliff Crouch, Assemblywoman Donna Lupardo and Broome County Executive Jason Garnar.

If you cannot attend the event, you can send your input to Lisa Strahley, Civic Engagement Coordinator, at strahleyla@sunybroome.edu.  Input will be accepted until March 4, 2019.

Let your voice be heard!
