Do you love to sing? Are you looking for a choir? Come and audition for the SUNY Broome Music Program’s Chamber Singers!
The Chamber Singers is a select vocal ensemble of 16 to 24 high-level, high-energy singers performing a cappella and accompanied music of all styles, including spirituals, jazz arrangements, 20th-century and contemporary music. They’re looking for singers in all voice parts who have an excellent team attitude and a commitment to attend two rehearsals a week.
Rehearsals are held from 3:30 to 4:45 p.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays in CS-113.
Auditions will be held Monday, Aug. 28, through Wednesday, Aug. 30. The audition requires singing 16 measures of any song and warm up-style exercises, and is open to all students attending SUNY Broome. (This course can also be taken for credit.)
