Interested in STEM careers? Stop by the Engineering Technology Career Opportunity Expo, which runs from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Thursday, October 29, in the Applied Technologies atrium. The event is open to all majors.
Learn about career and internship opportunities, and meet with representatives from: Advance Testing, Ametek Aerospace, Amphenol Aerospace, Broome County Personnel, CME Associates, Delta Engineering, the state Department of Transportation, GE Power & Water, Greenman-Pederson, Inc., Lockheed Martin, Milton CAT, Raymond Corporation, Vulcraft of New York, SUNY Delhi, SUNY ESF and SUNY Polytechnic Institute.
The event also features two presentations from 11 to 11:50 a.m. Greg Shepherd, a test equipment engineer with Ametek, will discuss “Finishing the Course: Past Academics” in AT 119. Karen Archer and staff from the state DOT will discuss “Employment Opportunities with the Department of Transporation” in AT 200.
Future events of interest include Transfer Day from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. November 5 in the Baldwin Gym, and Engineering Technology Mock Interviews from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. December 10 in DH 117.
