An image of a hand writing

Journaling is not only a great way to develop your writing skills, it helps you relax, teaches you to reflect inwardly, and might even teach you something new about yourself!

What’s more fun that learning more about yourself? Sharing those thoughts and realizations with others! We’d love to learn more about who our Hornets are as individuals and give you the opportunity to share your thoughts and ideas with fellow students.

Here’s your challenge:

Commit to journal twice per week following the journaling prompts found below for specific dates.

Share your thoughts to your social media – through Instagram with a meaningful photo, on Facebook in a journaling group you’ve created, or even through forming your own blog!

Use the hashtag #HornetsJournal2020 when you post your thoughts.

Try to use this time to inspire fellow students, reflect on what you are thankful for, give others something to ponder, or just to make someone smile.

Those that post their journal entries on the specified dates to their social media will be entered to win a $50 Barnes & Noble Gift card! Every five journal posts gets you one entry. Do all the posts and get four entries!
