SUNY Broome’s Communications and Media Arts department will hold a ribbon cutting ceremony for their fully online radio station The HiVE at 11 a.m. Oct. 30. The event will take place at the station site in the basement of Titchener Hall.
The event will offer students and faculty to explore the radio station and hear about the exciting things happening in the Communications and Media Arts department on campus. There will be light refreshments served. The event will take place between 11 and 11:50 a.m.
The space is currently being used for radio/broadcasting classes but will be looking to expand in the future. The station streams online and listeners can tune in at any time at: http://www3.sunybroome.edu/the-hive/
