Ireland is known for striking beauty, political turmoil, and a long and illustrious literary history. Join Professors Mary Donnelly and Andrew Haggerty in an exploration of LIT 277: Irish Literature, followed by an eight-day trip to the Emerald Isle.
The course surveys Irish literature from the Bronze Age to the modern era. In January, we will explore Ireland through the literary lens, staying in Dublin, Galway and Sligo, places which inspire the imagination. Local agents Carr’s Holidays are designing an exclusive travel package just for us!
